About the Firm
Introduction
Miura & Partners was founded in January 2019 by Mr. Ryota Miura, together with a team of experienced attorneys, with the goal of establishing a professional law firm where client satisfaction is the starting point. Our lawyers believe that the role of legal professionals is not just to advise on specific legal provisions, but to provide comprehensive legal advice and support to assist clients in achieving their business goals.
Our practice includes M&A, joint venture, finance, corporate and financial regulation, competition law, intellectual property law, employment and labor regulation, litigation, crisis management, general corporate legal matters, international trade, and domestic and cross border disputes involving North America, Europe and Asia. Our lawyers also have in-depth knowledge of new technologies and legal practices in the evolving fields such as AI, blockchain, big data, startups, fintech, medical and healthcare, ESG and SDGs.
Collectively, we offer a one-stop legal solution to our clients.
Miura & Partners consists of the general partnership among Miura & Partners Legal Profession Corporation (LPC), M Partners LPC and the law firm “Miura & Partners” along with the non-members of the LPC.

Some of our partners have experience as legal counsel at international companies and as such, our team has a deep understanding of the political, economic, and cultural environments of different jurisdictions. Our close relationships with renowned law firms around the world allow us to operate smoothly on multi-jurisdictional matters.
Commitments
We build a unique team for each new matter. This enables us to offer legal services tailored to each client. In a typical retainer arrangement, the contact partner will take charge of the matter by assembling professionals from various practice areas. As a new law firm with around 100 professionals, we work together and know each other well. The small size enables us to build the effective teams.
About M&P Asia Corporation
Miura & Partners launched the "Asia Project" in 2021 to strengthen its support system for companies operating or seeking to expand into Asia. As part of this project, we have established a comprehensive consulting firm, M&P Asia corporation, together with three founders, including Ryoichi Inoue, a lawyer who is also the head partner of the Southeast and South Asia Practice. M&P Asia has several local offices and covers a wide range of services including tax and financial due diligence, financial modeling, Pre-PPA, and valuation for cross-border M&A. Also, to facilitate a cross-border M&A ecosystem, M&P Asia operates the "Asia M&A Platform". Through close collaboration with M&P Asia, we provide full coverage services in areas not covered by existing Japanese law firms.
