Miura & Partners Announces Opening of Nagoya Office and Launch of “M&P Asia Project”

Miura & Partners (“M&P”) is pleased to announce that it plans to open a branch office in Nagoya in the fall of 2021. M&P will also launch the “Asia Project” in order to strengthen our legal support for companies doing business in Asia and companies seeking to expand into Asia.

About Nagoya Office:
We are establishing the Nagoya Office as a branch office of Miura & Partners LPC. It is scheduled to start operating on September 1, 2021. Further details will be announced shortly.

As the core city of the Tokai Economic Zone (Aichi, Gifu, and Mie Prefectures), Nagoya is one of the largest cities in Japan with a strong demand for legal support, and we have been providing M&A, dispute resolution, and various other legal consultation to clients in the area. By opening an office in the region, we aim to provide even more comprehensive legal support to companies in the Tokai economic zone in a timely manner.


About “Asia Project”
Led by Ryoichi Inoue, head partner of M&P's Southeast Asia/South Asia Practice, M&P have decided to start a local project based in Indonesia (Jakarta) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) in order to provide even wider range of services for clients in the region. M&P is planning to launch this project on October 1, 2021. We aim to provide a system that can provide one-stop full coverage service including areas which existing Japanese law firms could not cover. M&P is planning to develop this project in a different way from many Japanese law firms already operating in the Asian region. Details are to be revealed shortly.
