Miura & Partners Announces Strategic Alliance with a Kuala Lumpur Law Firm in March 2025

M&P has established a strategic business alliance with Donovan & Ho, a Malaysian law firm, starting March 2025.

By establishing its offices in Jakarta (Indonesia) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in 2023 and 2024, M&P has been providing one-stop support services for legal, taxation, and accounting affairs for Japanese companies, in collaboration with M&P Asia Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in Asia and emerging countries, which we co-founded in 2021. As previously announced, M&P will open an office in Bangkok (Thailand) in March 2025 as well.
Recent track record of M&P Asia
 
In response to the wishes of many of our clients, M&P has strengthened its support in Malaysia by establishing a strategic alliance with Donovan & Ho. Donovan & Ho is a Malaysian law firm with lawyers who are experts in their respective fields and have extensive experience in M&A, employment law and dispute resolution in Malaysia. Their Kuala Lumpur office and M&P will provide “one-stop service” for legal, taxation, and accounting affairs for Japanese companies' M&A in Malaysia, in association with M&P Asia Corporation, and offer appropriate solutions to the many legal issues Japanese companies face in Malaysia, such as new business expansion, fraud investigations, and dispute resolution.

Members: Donovan & Ho has 12 Malaysian lawyers and will work closely with Ryoichi Inoue, a head partner of the Asia Practice with experience handling M&A transactions in Malaysia and other Asian countries. Shigenobu Kanao, an executive officer of the M&P Asia Corporation, will be stationed in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis.
